Preview: The Lynx (8-0), who defeated the Washington Mystics 98-73 on Friday, are making their second trip to Texas in three weeks. On May 20, the Lynx held off the host Wings 89-87. The Lynx led by 12 at halftime but trailed by one going into the fourth quarter. The young Wings (4-5), with five rookies on the roster, ended a three-game losing streak on Friday by rallying for a 96-90 victory over visiting Los Angeles.

Players to watch: Lynx C Sylvia Fowles (pictured left), one of just two WNBA players averaging a double-double (20.9 points and 10.3rebounds per game), had 27 points in the victory over the Wings last month. Lynx G Renee Montgomery came off the bench Friday to score a season-high 13 points in 21½ minutes. Wings F Glory Johnson scored a season-high 24 points vs. the Sparks on Friday. Wings G Skylar Diggins-Smith, averaging 15.4 points per game, had 22 points and eight assists against the Lynx last month. Wings G Allisha Gray is averaging 12.1 points per game.

Numbers: The Lynx have won six in a row vs. the Wings franchise and 26 of the past 28 games in the series, including 14 consecutive road games.

Injuries: Wings F Aerial Powers (hip) and Wings C Courtney Paris (knee) are out.
