Lynx at a glance: Minnesota (8-4) has struggled on a three-game homestand at the start of July, losing 74-68 to Sacramento and barely beating Washington 96-94 in overtime. Maybe playing San Antonio will help. The Silver Stars are 2-16 all time at Target Center. Nicky Anosike, Charde Houston and Renee Montgomery all had one or two big quarters against the Mystics on Tuesday. Now if only two or three players can get hot at the same time.

Silver Stars at a glance: The defending Western Conference champions are struggling at 4-5 and are 0-4 on the road. San Antonio is 13th in the league in points per game, averaging 70.4; the Lynx are second at 84.7. The Silver Stars lost 55-53 at Seattle on Tuesday. They were outrebounded 56-32. Guard Becky Hammon averages 18 points and 5.9 assists, forward Sophia Young 16.8 points and 7.4 rebounds.
