Lynx at a glance: Minnesota (15-18) is coming off a 96-87 home loss to Phoenix on Friday night. Seimone Augustus (mild concussion) and Candice Wiggins (right knee) missed that game and will miss this one. Navonda Moore, a third guard, also will be out. She sprained an ankle after tying a career high with eight points against the Mercury. That leaves the team with three healthy guards, but this is the last game of the season. Lindsey Harding, in her 10th start since recovering from a knee injury, scored a team-high 20 points against Phoenix. That's seven points more than her previous season best and tied a career high from last season. Harding, a point guard, was driving to the basket as she did in her Duke days and was 11-for-14 at the free-throw line. Also impressive was forward Charde Houston, who scored 19, 18 and 19 points in her past three games.
Mystics at a glance: Washington (10-22) has the second-worst record in the WNBA. The Lynx beat Washington 92-78 on Aug. 30 at Target Center despite guard Alana Beard's 27 points. The Mystics bring an eight-game losing streak into today's game. Washington's biggest problem is scoring, averaging a league-low 69.3 points per game. Beard averages 16.1 points, Monique Currie 11.7. Guard Coco Miller, a former star at Rochester Mayo in high school, is finishing her eighth season with Washington. Jessie Kenlaw became the team's third coach in four seasons July 19.
