Lynx at a glance: The Lynx's nine-game winning streak ended Tuesday when they lost 85-80 at Phoenix. Lindsay Whalen and Seimone Augustus became the first teammates to reach 3,000 points in the same WNBA game and rookie Maya Moore tied a league record for most three-pointers made without a miss with six. Moore scored a season-high 28 points. ... The Lynx shot 42.6 percent from the field to the Mercury's 40.9 but, for the first time in 15 games, they lost despite outshooting an opponent.

Sky at a glance: Chicago (10-13) has lost three of its past four games to fall to fifth place in the Eastern Conference. The one win was against Indiana, the first-place team in the East, 88-69 at home on Sunday. But the Sky shot only 27 percent in losing at Connecticut 69-58 on Tuesday. ... Chicago is 8-4 at home, 2-9 on the road. ... Sylvia Fowles, a 6-6 center, is a matchup nightmare. She is third in the league in scoring (19.4 ppg) and rebounding (9.6 rpg). ... Ex-Lynx Shay Murphy, a reserve guard the Sky signed last month, has 21 points the past two games.
