at EDEN PRAIRIE

EDEN PRAIRIE 35, PRIOR LAKE 21

The No. 1- ranked Eagles scored on three consecutive drives in the first half while the No. 3 Lakers were shut out. Eden Prairie QB Ryan Connelly threw TD passes to Gamiel Hall and Josh Lanasa in the first half while Anthony Anderson rushed for 99 yards.

Key of the game: After Prior Lake scored on an 82-yard drive to start the second half, Connelly rolled to his right for 46 yards. A minute later, he broke away for another big gain, setting up the Eagles' fourth TD.

Quote: "That was a state championship-caliber game. Any time you get to face a top-five team, it's a big deal." — Eden Prairie running back Dan Fisher, who rushed for two TDs.

One thing to know: After scoring 40 points in Week 1 vs. Eagan, the Lakers were scoreless in the first half.
