FIRST BCS STANDINGS

ESPN will announce the season's first Bowl Championship Series standings on Sunday night, and according to projections, Boise State will be No. 1.

According to ESPN.com's Brad Edwards, Sunday's projected top five will be Boise State, Oregon, Texas Christian, Oklahoma and Louisiana State.

The BCS rankings are based on the USA Today coaches poll, the Harris poll of selected college football observers, and six computer rankings.
