Ecolab completes deal in France

Ecolab Inc., St. Paul, has closed on the previously announced acquisition of Laboratoires Anios, a maker of hygiene and disinfectant products based in Lille-Hellemmes, France. Total cost of the deal, including satisfaction of outstanding debt, was approximately $800 million.

Ameriprise declares dividend

Ameriprise Financial, Minneapolis, has declared a quarterly cash dividend of 75 cents per share payable on Feb. 28 to shareholders of record on Feb. 13.

RTI names new CEO

Remote Technologies Inc., Shakopee, has appointed W. Edward McConaghay as its chief executive. McConaghay was most recently an interim CEO and strategic adviser for technology companies through his consulting company, Key Indicators Inc.
