MERGERS AND ACQUISTIONS IWCO Direct, a Chanhassen-based provider of direct marketing products, has completed the acquisition of U.S. operations from Transcontinental Direct, a high-volume direct mail organization with facilities across the United States. The purchase price of the transaction, which includes Transcontinental Direct's U.S. operations in Warminster and Hamburg, Pa.; Downey, Calif.; and Fort Worth, Texas, was about $100 million.
NEW BUSINESS Ramada Plaza Minneapolis has signed a strategic partnership and sponsorship agreement with the Minnesota Twins for the 2010 season. The deal offers cross-promotional Twins events to take place at the Northern Point, the restaurant and bar in the hotel's lobby. The hotel will offer several game day hotel stay packages. The packages, starting at $99 for a deluxe room, will include free shuttle service to and from the stadium.
