NEW BUSINESS Digi-Key Corp., Thief River Falls, Minn., an electronic components distributor, has signed an agreement with Sanyo Semiconductor Corp. (USA) for global distribution.

NEW PRODUCTS American Medical Systems, Minnetonka, has released GreenLight MoJo, a new software upgrade for its GreenLight HPS laser therapy treatment system. The HPS now delivers up to 400 kilojoules for more efficient treatment of enlarged prostate or benign prostatic hyperplasia.

DEBT AND EQUITIES Donaldson Co. Inc., Minneapolis, said its board of directors authorized the repurchase of up to 8 million common shares. The new repurchase authorization replaces the existing authority that was approved in March 2006. Previously, Donaldson repurchased 7.7 million shares out of the 8 million shares in the March 2006 authorization.

Best Buy Co. Inc., Richfield, has authorized payment of a regular quarterly cash dividend of 14 cents per common share, payable May 6 to shareholders of record on April 15. The company had 418.8 million common shares outstanding as of Feb. 27.

PERSONNEL Laser Technologies Inc., St. Paul, a document management company, said its founder and CEO, Sean Carey, has joined Xerox's Peak Advisory Council.
