MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS Minneapolis-based Quazar Capital Corp. said that its client Payson Store Fixtures, a division of Supervalu Inc., Eden Prairie, has been acquired by DGS Retail, headquartered in Boston. Terms were not disclosed. Payson makes fixtures, millwork and door elements for supermarkets, pharmacies and other retail store environments.

NEW BUSINESS ACIST Medical Systems Inc., an Eden Prairie-based provider of contrast-delivery systems for cardiology and radiology imaging, said that HealthTrust Purchasing Group, Brentwood, Tenn., has awarded the company a three-year contract for the ACIST CVi Contrast Delivery System.

MoneyGram International, St. Louis Park, and Supervalu Inc., Eden Prairie, renewed a multiyear agreement to extend their alliance to offer MoneyGram money transfer services at more than 1,000 corporate-owned grocery outlets in 28 states.

PERSONNEL Angeion Corp., St. Paul, named Scott Shuda to its board of directors. He is managing director and co-founder of Danville, Calif.-based BlueLine Partners, an investment firm that focuses on publicly listed technology and health care firms.
