NEW BUSINESS Juhl Wind Inc., Woodstock, Minn., said its Next Generation Power Systems subsidiary has received orders for 14 of its 33 kW on-site small wind turbine systems, totaling more than $880,000, from new and existing dealers in the Midwest.

Alliant Techsystems, Edina, and its international teammate Humbert CTTS SAS have received a contract to supply Speer Gold Dot 9mm ammunition as the new duty ammunition for French police. The contract value, with options, is potentially worth more than $14 million over four years and would supply Gold Dot high performance ammunition to all 250,000 police officers in France, including the French police, the French Gendarmerie, French Customs and French Corrections.

DEBT AND EQUITIES U.S. Bancorp, Minneapolis, declared a quarterly dividend of 5 cents per common share, payable July 15 to shareholders of record on June 30.

PERSONNEL Allina Hospitals & Clinics, Minneapolis, has named Ken Paulus chief executive officer following the retirement of Richard Pettingill. Paulus has served as president and CEO-designate since Pettingill's retirement plans were announced last summer.
