DEBT AND EQUITIES Buffets Holdings Inc., Eagan, announced that the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware has entered an order confirming the company's plan of reorganization. The plan will become effective -- and the company will exit bankruptcy protection -- as soon as all closing conditions to the plan and to the company's exit financing have been met. Buffets expects to emerge from Chapter 11 shortly.

PERSONNEL Alliant Techsystems, Eden Prairie, announced that retired Air Force Maj. Gen. James Armor Jr., a former director of the National Security Space Office, has been named vice president of strategy and business development for spacecraft systems and engineering services for ATK Space Systems.
