DEBT AND EQUITIES Polaris Industries Inc., which makes ATVs, snowmobiles and motorcycles, said Thursday that sales could plummet as much as 23 percent this year and 25 percent in the first quarter. Polaris' global sales fell 3 percent in the fourth quarter and net income from continuing operations fell 5 percent.

Ameriprise Financial Inc., Minneapolis, declared a quarterly dividend of 17 cents per common share, payable Feb. 20 to shareholders of record Feb. 6.

Regis Corp., Edina, declared a regular quarterly dividend of 4 cents per share payable Feb. 26 to shareholders of record Feb. 12.

Dolan Media Co., Minneapolis, said its board of directors had adopted a stockholder rights plan with a 15 percent trigger: The company will distribute, as a dividend, one preferred stock-purchase right for each share of common stock held of record as of the close of business Feb. 9. The plan will expire Jan. 29, 2019, unless Dolan Media earlier redeems the rights or the board terminates it. Subject to certain exceptions, the rights are exercisable only if a person, entity or group acquires 15 percent or more of Dolan Media's common stock.

MERGERS AND ACQUISTIONS KGP Telecommunications Inc., Faribault, a supply chain services, telecommunication products and integrated solutions company, has agreed to buy Embarq Logistics, the supply chain, distribution and deployment subsidiary of Embarq Corp., Overland Park, Kan. Terms were not released.

PERSONNEL MakeMusic Inc., Eden Prairie, announced that Michael Cahr has joined the board of directors. Cahr is a general partner at Focus Equity Partners, a private equity investment and management firm.

HMN Financial, Rochester, holding company for Home Federal Savings Bank, appointed Bradley Krehbiel as president of Home Federal Savings Bank. He first joined the bank Home Federal in 1998 and has been executive vice president.
