DEBT AND EQUITIES Nature Vision Inc., Brainerd, received a notice from the Nasdaq Stock Market indicating that the company is in violation of the minimum bid price requirement for continued listing, as the bid price of its common stock closed below $1 per share for 30 consecutive days. Nature Vision will have until March 24, 2009, to regain compliance with rule.

MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS Ciprico Inc., St. Louis Park, closed the asset sale of certain of Ciprico's intellectual property assets to Dot Hill Systems Corp. Pursuant to bankruptcy proceedings Dot Hill will acquire all of Ciprico's rights to its RAIDCore technology and a joint ownership interest with Ciprico in its NAS intellectual property.

NEW BUSINESS Alliant Techsystems, Edina, and FN Manufacturing received a $55.3 million contract from the U.S. Army Joint Munitions and Lethality Life Cycle Management Command, Picatanny Arsenal, New Jersey, to produce Mk19 Mod-3 Grenade Machine Guns.

SurModics Inc., Eden Prairie, acquired the CodeLink Activated Slide microarray business from GE Healthcare. Terms were not disclosed.
