DIVIDENDS H.B. Fuller Co., St. Paul, declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 6.6 cents per share of common stock. The dividend is payable Aug. 7 to shareholders of record July 24.

MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS Datacard Group, Minnetonka, announced that Aconite, based in the United Kingdom, has acquired the Datacard Affina Enterprise Platform software from Datacard Group. Under terms of the agreement, Datacard Group transfers intellectual property rights, support and development staff for the Affina Enterprise Platform software to Aconite in return for an equity stake in Aconite and future royalties.

NEW BUSINESS Alliant Techsystems Inc., Edina, signed a teaming agreement with Elbit Systems Ltd., Haifa, Israel, to develop the Guided Advanced Tactical Rocket-Laser.

Amcom Software, Eden Prairie, and North American Communications Resource Inc., Eagan, have established a strategic alliance under which North American will distribute Amcom's industry-leading, mission critical communications software products.

Carlson Wagonlit Travel, a unit of Minnetonka-based Carlson Companies Inc., and American Express Global Commercial Card have signed a multiyear, preferred-supplier agreement. Carlson Wagonlit will promote and distribute three American Express payment products -- Business Travel Account, Corporate Card and Corporate Meeting Card -- to its clients and prospects in 21 countries.

NEW PRODUCTS Christian James Inc., Buffalo, Minn., announced two new product configurations based on its new software core: PayGo SaaS Local Host and PayGo Core Unlocked for MySQL. PayGo SaaS Local Host allows retailers to use the PayGo SaaS product in their own environments, which can include in-house servers or servers co-located with other providers. PayGo Core Unlocked for MySQL allows companies to buy the company's technology unlocked so they can pursue their own development paths.

Digi International, Minnetonka, introduced the Digi Connect N2S-170, a card-based Ethernet networking controller that provides reliable network connectivity for Model 170 traffic controller equipment.

PERSONNEL Advantus Capital Management, St. Paul, has hired Dean Di Bias as a portfolio manager to run a new high-yield mortgage investment strategy.

Communications Systems Inc., Minnetonka, appointed Roger Lacey to its board of directors. Lacey is vice president of corporate strategy and marketing development for 3M Co.

Juhl Wind Inc., Woodstock, Minn., named Edward Hurley a director. Juhl Wind develops and manages community based wind power.
