Patterson Companies Inc., Mendota Heights, has completed its acquisition of the stock of National Veterinary Services Limited (NVS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Dechra Pharmaceuticals PLC. NVS is the largest veterinary distributor in the United Kingdom. The acquisition is expected to be accretive to earnings by 4 cents to 5 cents per share, including the impact of one-time and transactional expenses, in the first full year after closing.
