MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS An affiliate of CAPREIT Inc., Rockville, Md., a national investor of multifamily properties has acquired its fourth multifamily property in the Twin Cities area in recent years. The owner and operator partnered with an unnamed institutional equity group to purchase the Classic at the Preserve in Woodbury. The property has 282 apartments, a clubhouse, and two swimming pools. The sale price was more than $35 million.

PERFORMANCE Christopher & Banks Corp., a Plymouth-based specialty women's apparel retailer, said it now expects to report a comparable store sales increase in the high teens for the fourth fiscal quarter compared with the company's previous guidance of a comparable store sales increase in the high single to low double digits.
