DEBT & EQUITIESProto Labs Inc., Maple Plain, announced completion of a follow-on offering of 4.14 million shares of its common stock, of which 4.04 million shares were sold by shareholders and 100,000 shares were sold by Proto Labs, at a price to the public of $31 per share. The 4.04 million shares sold by shareholders included 540,000 shares sold pursuant to the full exercise by the underwriters of their option to purchase additional shares from certain shareholders. Proto Labs did not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of the shares sold by the shareholders.

Hormel Foods Corp., Austin, Minn., distributed its annual profit sharing of more than $16.9 million to eligible hourly and salaried employees.

PERSONNELNash Finch Co., Edina, announced Christopher Brown is no longer serving as executive vice president, president and chief operating officer of Nash Finch Wholesale, effective immediately. Brown will remain with the company until his separation on Jan. 3, 2013, to assist in the transition of his duties and ongoing matters.
