MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS Mocon Inc., Brooklyn Park, has closed the acquisition of PBI-Dansensor A/S (Dansensor) of Ringsted, Denmark, a privately held manufacturer of specialized instrumentation for Modified Atmosphere Packaging of foods, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and other perishable items. Mocon acquired 100 percent of the equity interests of Dansensor for about $20 million.
NAME CHANGE Bioenergy Inc. has changed its name to RiboCor Inc. and moved its headquarters to Brooklyn Park from Ham Lake. These changes are a part of a series of strategic moves the company has implemented, reflecting its long-term plans to focus solely on medical applications of its proprietary technologies.
