Anulex Technologies Inc., Minnetonka, a medical device manufacturer, has announced U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance to market the FiXate tissue band product, designed to secure spinal cord stimulation lead anchors to the fascia or interspinous/supraspinous ligament in patients with chronic, intractable pain of the trunk and/or limbs.

The Oak Ridge Financial Services Group Inc., Minneapolis, announced the completion of its subordinated debt offering on behalf of Minnwest Corp. Oak Ridge raised $10 million for Minnwest, which included execution of its $2 million overallotment option. Minnwest is the fifth-largest bank holding company in Minnesota and also has operations in South Dakota.

LEGISLATIVE ACTIONThe U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced Affordable Care Act grant awards of $3.9 million to Minnesota that will help fight unreasonable premium increases and protect consumers. The Affordable Care Act requires health insurers seeking to increase their rates by 10 percent or more in the individual and small group market to submit their request to experts to determine whether the rates are unreasonable.
