DEBT AND EQUITIESPolyMet Mining Corp., Hoyt Lakes, Minn., has closed the second tranche of its previously announced private placement with Glencore AG, a subsidiary of Glencore International PLC, reissuing 5 million common shares at $2 a share for gross proceeds of $10 million. Separately, Glencore has acquired pursuant to a private placement 9.2 million PolyMet common shares at $1.4233 per share, from Cliffs Erie LLC, a subsidiary of Cliffs Natural Resources Inc.
PERSONNELDigital River Inc., Eden Prairie, has appointed Souheil Badran senior vice president and general manager of Digital River World Payments. Badran previously was senior vice president and general manager of the e-commerce solutions division of First Data Corp.
