MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONSRegency Centers, an owner and operator of grocery-anchored and community shopping centers, has acquired Calhoun Commons, a neighborhood shopping center at W. Lake Street and Excelsior Blvd. in Minneapolis. The property was purchased for $21 million from Calhoun Commons Shopping Center LP, a subsidiary of Doran Companies and the original developer of the property.

Graco Inc., Minneapolis, has received a request for additional information from the Federal Trade Commission in connection with the company's proposed acquisition of the operations of the finishing businesses of Illinois Tool Works Inc.

NEW PRODUCTSMedica, Minnetonka, is offering Wisconsin residents its Medica Solo, Medica Symphony and Medica Symphony for HSA health plan options to people who purchase health coverage on their own. The plans are available for effective dates of July 1, 2011, or later in the following Wisconsin counties: Ashland, Baron, Bayfield, Burnett, Chippewa, Douglas, Dunn, Eau Claire, Pierce, Polk, Sawyer, St. Clair and Washburn.

NEW BUSINESSCirrus Aircraft, Duluth, confirmed that its SR20 aircraft has been selected as the aircraft for the U.S. Air Force Academy's Powered Flight Program. The Air Force Academy will receive 25 SR20 aircraft -- designated as T-53A trainers in the customized configuration -- this summer and through 2012. The value of the purchase is about $6.1 million.

The Sheraton Bloomington Hotel, 7800 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington, will be rebranded as a Doubletree by Hilton on July 13. In January, the hotel will launch a $12.5 million renovation of guest rooms and public spaces.

PERSONNELDonaldson Co. Inc., Bloomington, said James Shaw was named vice president and chief financial officer, effective Nov. 1. Shaw, currently corporate controller and principal accounting officer, succeeds Thomas VerHage, who will leave the company Oct. 31.
