MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONSIngenix, Eden Prairie, a health information technology and services company, announced it is acquiring Axolotl, a provider of health information exchange services. The combined company will enable health information to be shared for the benefit of patients and health care professionals. The Axolotl management team will remain in place and will lead Ingenix's efforts in health care community connectivity. Ingenix is a wholly-owned subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group.
NEW BUSINESSRimage Corp., Eden Prairie, said that its majority owned joint venture, Rimage Information Technology, has received approval of its registration in China and has been issued a business license. Rimage Information Technology will deploy digital publishing solutions for medical imaging in hospitals and clinics in China. Rimage Corp. will own 51 percent of the joint venture; Taiwan Electronic Data Processing Corp., a group of Systex Corp., will own the remaining 49 percent.

GIVINGU.S. Bancorp, Minneapolis, announced a partnership with Razoo, Washington D.C., an online giving and fundraising company. Beginning Oct. 1, U.S. Bank will help Razoo process all donations made through Razoo's online platform at a rate of 2.9 percent. U.S. Bank will waive select fees associated with processing credit cards.
