Securian Financial Group, St. Paul, announced that President and CEO Chris Hilger was appointed chairman of the board on Monday.
Hilger succeeded Robert Senkler as CEO in January 2015 and now succeeds Senkler as the chairman of the financial services firm. Senkler, who was CEO for 20 years, will continue to serve as a board member.
