Hunter Street Partners, Minneapolis, an alternative investment firm founded in January, has named three members to its inaugural advisory board. All three are veteran business leaders based in Minneapolis including: Steve Adams, a founding partner of Wayzata Capital Partners; Van Zandt Hawn, a founder at Goldner Hawn Johnson & Morrison; and Jeff Stolt, a former partner and CFO at Pine River Capital.
Hunter Street Partners aims to provide capital solutions to operating partner teams and lower middle market companies across corporate finance, real estate, and specialty finance.

Activist fund invests in Apogee
Engaged Capital, Newport Beach, Calif., disclosed in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission Tuesday that it has acquired a 6 percent ownership interest in Apogee Enterprises Inc., Edina.
Engaged is a "constructive activist fund" that invests in small- and mid-cap companies. In the filing, the company called shares of Apogee undervalued and said it has had discussions with management on ways to improve performance of the commercial and industrial glass company.
