New Mexico Colorado State 40, Fresno State 35 Rams RB Gartrell Johnson rushed for 285 yards and two touchdowns.

St. Petersburg South Florida 41, Memphis 14 Bulls QB Matt Grothe passed for 237 yards and three touchdowns.

Las Vegas Arizona 31, BYU 21 Wildcats QB Willie Tuitama passed for 325 yards and two scores.

New Orleans Southern Miss 30, Troy 27, OT Britt Barefoot kicked a 39-yard FG before Michael McGee blocked Troy's try to tie.
