Why selected: She presides over a Twin Cities-based group that tries to help families across the country avoid foreclosure. With the recovery underway and foreclosure rates falling, she's focused on developing programs aimed at helping families across the country get their finances back in order.
What happened: The group received several large grants in 2013 that will help it expand its financial literacy and foreclosure prevention programs across the country.
