Clutterbuck to miss tonight's game

Cal Clutterbuck is the latest Wild player to be sidelined

Koivu, Latendresse, Bouchard, Backstrom, Stoner, Falk. Why not add another?

Cal Clutterbuck will miss tonight's game at Colorado because he's not feeling well.

However, coach Mike Yeo this morning and assistant to the GM Jim Mill tonight were both careful not to call Clutterbuck sick, so I'm wondering if the team isn't sure this is something worse. Remember, he was questionable to play last game stemming from a hard hit Friday in Detroit on Justin Abdelkader. Then to compound matters, he took a glove to the head from David Jones last game.

So, did he get his bell rung, so to speak. He does have a history of that. Like I said, it's just my suspicion. Maybe we'll find out tomorrow or Thursday in Arizona it is an illness.

For now, Erik Christensen replaces Clutterbuck. Talk to you after the game.
