Key players: Junior quarterback Braxton Miller is a two-time Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year. Senior tailback Carlos Hyde led the Big Ten with 143.2 rushing yards per game. And junior linebacker Ryan Shazier led the Big Ten in tackles (122) and tackles for a loss (21).

Did you know? Ohio State is 24-0 under coach Urban Meyer. The Buckeyes were ineligible for a bowl game last year because of violations under former coach Jim Tressel. Their 24-game winning streak is the longest for a Big Ten team since Michigan won 25 in a row from 1946 to '49.
