A fast-growing California company has acquired all three NorthWorks Occupational Health locations in Minneapolis, Robbinsdale and Chaska.

Terms of the deal, announced by Valencia, Calif.-based U.S. HealthWorks on Wednesday, were not disclosed.

The Twin Cities clinics diagnose and treat workplace injuries and illness, conduct employment exams and offer rehabilitative care for workers.

The deal gives U.S. HealthWorks its first stake in Minnesota. The company now has 156 medical and worksite centers around the country.

The clinics have taken the name U.S. HealthWorks. No layoffs are expected, according to a company spokesman.
