Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, Center City, Minn., promoted James Flint, to vice president of real estate, facilities and support. Flint has served as executive director of facilities since joining the organization in 2016.

Lorenz Clinic, Minneapolis, named Matthew Syzdek, as chief clinical officer. He was the director for outpatient mental health at Fairview Health Services and previously served in a leadership role for Hennepin Healthcare.

The Joyce Foundation, Chicago, named to its board: Chanda Smith-Baker, chief impact officer and senior vice president for the Minneapolis Foundation. Smith-Baker has been with the foundation since 2017 and previously served as president and chief executive of Pillsbury United Communities.
honors
Minnesota Community Education Association named Tiffany Clifton, assistant director of community education, Orono and Brianna Ostoff, community education director in Farmington, as State Community Educator's of Excellence. Both of them were recognized for their leadership roles with the community education COVID-19 Task Force.
