Benedictine Health System, Duluth, named Jerry Carley president/chief executive effective Jan. 3. Carley is president and chief executive of CSJ Initiatives in Kansas and has served on the board for Benedictine Health System since 2015.

StoneArch, Minneapolis, named Marcia Miller president. Miller was senior vice president of corporate marketing and brand for Optum and was vice president of brand, advertising and interactive for UnitedHealthcare.

Moving up

U.S. Bank Wealth Management named Ben Ollendick regional managing director of Ascent Private Capital Management's Minneapolis office. Ollendick was managing director of private banking for Ascent in Minneapolis.

St. Catherine University, St. Paul, named Alan Silva executive vice president and provost. Silva joined the university in 2006 as dean of arts and sciences. St. Catherine University also named Michelle Wieser associate dean of graduate business and leadership programs.

On the move

Medica, Minnetonka, named John Mach Jr. chief medical officer. Mach was chief medical officer for Evolent Health and held leadership positions at Univita Health and UnitedHealth Group.

Uponor North America, Apple Valley, named Chris Budion senior director of sales operations. Budion was vice president of sales and marketing for Hollander and held sales management positions at MicroEdge, Wolters Kluwer Financial Services and FindLaw. Uponor also named Doug Fulton senior director of corporate strategy and segment marketing and Linda Novitt senior director of brand, corporate communications and marketing communications.

Aim Higher Foundation, Minnetonka, named Jean Houghton president. Houghton was director of advancement for St. Agnes Catholic School and worked for McDonald's Corp.

Excelsior Group, St. Louis Park, named Andy Finn senior vice president, commercial investments. Finn was vice president of acquisitions and investments for Founders Properties and worked for Ryan Cos.

Lacek Group, Minneapolis, named Michelle Wildenauer senior vice president, strategic services. Wildenauer worked for Thomson Reuters and previously worked for the Lacek Group from 1993-2012. The Lacek Group also named Mark Powers vice president, loyalty and engagement and Marcin Michalek senior manager, strategic services.
