Central Minnesota Fabricating, Willmar, named Cathy Hedlof general manager. Hedlof joined the company in 1978 and was named operations manager in 1996. CMF also named Phil Schaefer sales manager.
Evine Live, Eden Prairie, named Tim Peterman chief operating officer/chief financial officer. Peterman joined the company in 2015 as chief financial officer and worked for Synacor and Scripps Networks Interactive.

The Minnesota Zoo, Apple Valley, named Tony Grundhauser executive director of the Minnesota Zoo Foundation. Grundhauser was vice president for institutional advancement at Hamline University and worked for the Nature Conservancy. The zoo also named Michelle Geddes senior director of marketing and communications. Geddes was director of marketing for the Chicago Park District.
Comcast named Elizabeth Bierman director of engineering for the Twin Cities region. Bierman held engineering management positions for Honeywell's aerospace business and is a former president of the Society of Women Engineers. Comcast also named Stacey Nelson-Kumar director of community investment for the Twin Cities region. Nelson-Kumar worked for Cargill, Supervalu and United Way of Treasure Valley in Idaho.
Piper Jaffray, Minneapolis, named Chris Geyer and Tim Shea principals. Geyer worked for Lazard Middle Market, Entegris and Piper Jaffray. Shea was chief financial officer for Southwest Foodservice Excellence and worked for Robert W. Baird & Co.
Sunshine Heart, Eden Prairie, named Gordon Weber vice president, general counsel. Weber was vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for Vascular Solutions and worked for Smiths Medical and Faegre & Benson.
Moss & Barnett, Minneapolis, named Shannon Heim an attorney for the regulated industries and communications law teams. Heim is a council member for the Minnesota State Bar Assocation's Communication Law Section and a member of the Governor's Task Force on Broadband.
Marketing Architects, Minnetonka, named Rita O'Keeffe vice president, corporate counsel. O'Keeffe was senior counsel for Bluestem Brands and worked for Stinson Leonard Street.
