Abbot Downing, Minneapolis, named Carol Schleif deputy chief investment ­officer. Schleif was Midwest regional chief investment officer for the firm and previously was a partner and investment principal for Lowry Hill, a Minneapolis-based predecessor. She serves on the board for the College of St. Benedict, where she leads the investment committee. Abbot Downing also named Joe Rorke Midwest regional chief investment officer.

Colle+McVoy, Minneapolis, named Karen Nauta associate account director, Jack Treacy associate art director, Heather Denike senior interactive producer and Luz Caceres and Emily Gilbert senior account executives.

On the move

Bauer Design Build, Plymouth, named Patrick Cruikshank partner and senior vice president of project development. Cruikshank was a vice president for Shaw-Lundquist and was director of business development for Knutson ­Construction.

Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, Center City, named Kevin Chandler director, legal professionals program. Chandler serves on the board for Minnesota ­Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers and is a former state senator.

PwC named Jack Cahill tax partner. Cahill worked for asset management firms and was an adjunct faculty member for the University of Minnesota.

Bell State Bank & Trust named Jon Aase senior vice president/commercial lender for the Bloomington office. Aase worked for Associated Bank and Bank of the West.

Sawmill, Minneapolis, named Tom Rauenhorst vice president and trust officer. Rauenhorst worked for J.P. Morgan and U.S. Trust.

On the board

Clearfield, Brooklyn Park, named Roger Harding to the board. Harding held multiple leadership positions at Alcatel-Lucent including managing the global switching and classic products business.

University of Minnesota Alumni Association named Daniel McDonald chair. McDonald is a partner at Merchant & Gould and serves on the advisory board for the University of Minnesota Law School.
