Sico, Edina, named Ken Steinbauer vice president of global sales and marketing. Steinbauer joined Sico in 2008 and held leadership positions for AT&T/Lucent Technologies, Shaw Contract Flooring and Lifetouch.

Vantage Financial, Excelsior, named Kathleen Skow chief financial officer. Skow joined Vantage in 2011 and worked for Fidelity National Capital and U.S. Bank.

FLM+ named Jon Montgomery vice president. Montgomery joined FLM+ in 2014 as creative director and worked for Broadhead, Colle + McVoy and Martin Williams.

On the move

UCare, Minneapolis, named Larry Lee senior vice president and chief medical officer. Lee worked for the Veterans Health Administration, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and HealthPartners.

Guardian Energy Management, Prior Lake, named Jeanne McCaherty chief executive. McCaherty was vice president, regional director for North and South American regions for the texturizing business unit at Cargill.

Fredrikson & Byron, Minneapolis, named Patrick Seul senior associate. Seul was an associate at Proskauer Rose.

RSP Architects, Minneapolis, named Amy Kalar associate, senior medical planner. Kalar was a senior associate at HGA Architects and Engineers and received the 2016 American Institute of Architects National Young Architects Award. RSP also named Ben Lindau project designer.

Compass Capital Management, Minneapolis, named Phillip Stern chief operating officer. Stern was a director for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

On the board

Wright-Hennepin Cooperative Electric Association, Rockford, named Casey Whelan to the board. Whelan is vice president of liquefied natural gas market development in the Americas for World Fuel Services.

Signage Foundation named Anne DePalma to the board. DePalma is lab manager of 3M's Commercial Solutions Division.
