Jolly is president and chief executive of the Science Museum of Minnesota, a former Kellogg Leadership Fellow and a trustee of the Bush Foundation. He will succeed Carleen Rhodes who will retire from the organization.
Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Minnetonka, named Jeffrey Freund senior vice president, midscale brands, Americas. Freund was vice president, operations, owned and managed hotels since 2008 and was director of operations. Carlson Rezidor also named Alissa Montbriand vice president, global integrated marketing communications. Montbriand worked for Bloomin' Brands, Staples, PetSmart and Best Buy Mobile.

DLA Piper named Rachel Paulose partner in the Minneapolis office. Paulose was the U.S. Attorney for the District of Minnesota from 2006 to 2008 and was a senior trial counsel with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
