At the top

Kraus-Anderson Construction Co., Minneapolis, named Dave Lenss corporate vice president. He will be responsible for securing and managing construction projects in various market sectors. Lenss was previously the president of Graham Construction Services Inc. in Eagan. He also served as president of Winnipeg-based general contractor Penn-Co Construction. His experience includes overseeing projects in light rail, industrial, housing and aviation, as well as in federal contracting. Some of the projects he managed include the $48 million Wastewater Treatment Plant in Willmar, Minn.; $27 million Northstar Corridor Light Rail station and LRT extension, Minneapolis; and several projects at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

Moving up

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSS), St. Paul, named Brigid Peterson chief compliance and integration officer. Peterson has served as controller since 2003. She will oversee integration of new initiatives and manage internal controls, policies and procedures to ensure compliance on service contracts and grants. Patrick Thueson has been named vice president and chief financial officer. Since 2007, Thueson served as senior director of finance operations, overseeing budgeting and forecasting as well as contributing to operational improvements.

On the move

Colle+McVoy, Minneapolis, hired Jim Silburn as director of client services, overseeing account management, strategy and analytics, and media. Silburn most recently served as senior director of marketing, brand communication and value proposition at Capella Education Company. Before joining Capella, Silburn held a variety of roles at advertising agencies, including Fallon, Martin-Williams and Carmichael Lynch. He helped lead teams through brand architecture definition and communication development on a variety of consumer brands, including Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, U.S. Bank, Lee Jeans, Sports Illustrated and Coca-Cola.

Coldwell Banker Burnet, Edina, hired Patricia Zuzek as a Realtor for its the Apple Valley office. Zuzek is active in her church, Hope for Homes, and is on the board of directors for the Minnesota Association of Realtors, St. Paul Area Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

Brigham Group Staffing, Minneapolis, merged with SEEK Careers/Staffing Inc. The two Brigham branch offices, in Bloomington and Baldwin, Wis., were included in the merger. Jennifer Brigham, founder and CEO of the Brigham Group, and a social media expert will serve as SEEK's vice president of marketing. Owned by Carol Schneider, SEEK is the fifth largest woman-owned business in the state of Wisconsin.
