Risdall Marketing Group, New Brighton, named Tara Henderson vice president, account supervisor. Henderson came from RAZR Marketing, where she served as an account director for clients such as MoneyGram International and Experian. Henderson's past client list also includes Carlson Hotels Worldwide, General Mills, Famous Dave's BBQ, MGM Pictures and Walt Disney.

J&B Group, a St. Michael-based wholesale food and cold chain distributor, hired Steve DeRoeck as logistics sales and planning manager. Michelle Harmelink has been hired as logistics freight broker. Amber Cantin was hired as a logistics sales representative; Cantin lives and works in Olathe, Kan.

FRWD, a Minneapolis digital marketing agency, named Aaron Gasperi as Midwest VP for the Connected Television Marketing Association, a new global industry organization. Gasperi is director at FRWD.

moving up

Dominium, a leading apartment development and management company, promoted David Dougherty to human resource assistant at its corporate office in Plymouth. Dougherty had been a human resource intern.

Bridgewater Bank, Bloomington, promoted John Haertzen and Nick Place to assistant vice president commercial lending. Kevin Westerhaus will lead the retail team as vice president of retail banking. Recently, he held a similar position at Community Bank of Chaska.

United Properties, Bloomington, promoted John Saunders to senior vice president. He is responsible for acquisition and sale of properties for the commercial real estate developer and investor as well as its co-investment partners.

Cities Management Inc., a Minnesota company that provides property management services for homeowners associations, promoted Traci Lehman to president. She had been vice president of association management.

Padilla Speer Beardsley, Minneapolis, promoted Matt Kucharski to the newly created role of executive vice president of agency services. His duties include overseeing areas such as strategic planning, social media and research; he will also spearhead growth and help leverage the firm's global reach through the Worldcom Public Relations Group.

Allianz Life Insurance of North America was awarded BestPrep's Humanitarian Award during the 14th annual "Birdies for BestPrep" event. BestPrep, a Minnesota nonprofit, engages 60,000 students in grades K-12 each year in business, career and financial literacy education programs. More than 250 Allianz employees have volunteered for the nonprofit over the past two years.

Sarah Sanfilippo, president of Securian Trust Co. in St. Paul, was awarded the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation by the Institute of Certified Bankers.
