Bryan brothers set doubles record

Bob and Mike Bryan complete their climb of Mount Woodie, breaking the ATP Tour record for doubles championships with the 62nd on Sunday.

They had been tied with Hall of Famers Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde of Australia.

"The Woodies put a record way out there. Sixty-one was Mount Everest when we started," Mike Bryan said. "We love what we do. To get this, one of their many records, is special."

The twin brothers defeated American Eric Butorac and Jean-Julien Rojer of Netherlands Antilles 6-7 (8-6), 6-2 (10-7) in the Farmers Classic, the Bryans' 100th career final.

Querrey tops Murray, takes title

Sam Querrey fought off a match point in the second set and went on to beat Andy Murray 5-7, 7-6 (7), 6-3 in the Farmers Classic final in Los Angeles.

Azarenka beats Sharapova in final

No. 8 seed Victoria Azarenka beat No. 5 Maria Sharapova 6-4, 6-1 to win the Bank of the West Classic in Stanford, Calif.

Ousted Oregon QB joins Ole Miss Quarterback Jeremiah Masoli, dismissed at Oregon after pleading guilty to burglary and being caught with marijuana, posted on his website that he will play for Mississippi.

Masoli can play immediately under NCAA rules because he is enrolling in graduate school.

Masoli was a two-year starter for the Ducks. He figured to be a Heisman Trophy candidate there this season after throwing for 2,147 yards and 15 touchdowns and rushing for 668 yards and 13 touchdowns last season.
