Brown's hat trick carries Bulldogs • MINNESOTA DULUTH 6, NEBRASKA-OMAHA 2: J.T. Brown had a hat trick, including two goals 28 seconds apart early in the third period, as the top-ranked Bulldogs (15-3-3, 11-2-2 WCHA) extended their school-record unbeaten streak to 17 games by beating the host Mavericks (10-9-4, 7-5-3) on Friday. With the score 2-2 after two periods, Brown scored at 2:45 and again at 3:13 of the third period. He also assisted on Mike Seidel's empty-net goal with 4:23 to go.

• WISCONSIN 4, MINNESOTA STATE MANKATO 0: Mark Zengerle extended his point-scoring streak to 20 games in a row with a first-period goal, and the Badgers (10-9-2, 5-8-2) defeated the host Mavericks (6-16-1, 2-12-1). Zengerle, who also had an assist, can tie the school record for points in consecutive games Saturday.

• COLORADO COLLEGE 3, ST. CLOUD STATE 1: Josh Thorimbert made 32 saves and Alexander Krushelnyski and Scott Winkler each had a goal and an assist as the Tigers (13-7-1, 10-5) beat the Huskies (8-11-4, 5-7-3) in Colorado Springs.

• DENVER 6, BEMIDJI STATE 3: Drew Shore had two goals and three assists, Ty Loney scored twice and the host Pioneers (12-8-3, 7-5-3) beat the Beavers (11-10-2, 5-8-2).

• MICHIGAN TECH 6, ALASKA ANCHORAGE 2: Ryan Furne had a goal and two assists for the Huskies (10-11-1, 7-7-1) against the Seawolves (6-11-2, 3-11-1) in Houghton, Mich.
