CHICAGO — The Milwaukee Brewers have recalled infielder Scooter Gennett from Triple-A Nashville.
He will serve as the Brewers' 26th man during Tuesday's day-night doubleheader with the Chicago Cubs.
In 17 games with Milwaukee, Gennett was hitting .214 with one home run and five runs batted in. He was with the Brewers from June 3 to June 26 before getting sent back to Nashville.
Gennett hit .280 with three homers and 22 RBIs at Triple-A.
