Brett Favre told Sports Illustrated this month that he could still play, still make those throws.

He can also still pitch. The former Vikings (and Packers) quarterback shot a video of his support for fellow Southern Mississippi alum Brian Dozier's bid to make the American League All-Star Game roster.

The video was tweeted out by the Twins on Wednesday.

Dozier, the Twins' second baseman, is trailing Kansas City third baseman Mike Moustakas in the online vote-driven "Final Vote" as of Wednesday. The winner of the vote is the last person added to each league's roster.
