Brent Rooker hit a first-inning home run, his second homer in two games, sending the St. Paul Saints on their way to a 7-4 victory over the Omaha Storm Chasers on Wednesday night at CHS Field.
With one out in the first, J.T. Riddle walked, and Rooker followed with his 13th home run of the season.
Roberto Pena hit a run-scoring single in the second, and Mark Contreras hit a two-run homer in the third, also his second in as many games, as the Saints took a 5-0 lead after three innings.
Willians Astudillo drove in the Saints' final run with an eighth-inning single.
Rooker scored three runs.
