20th update of the day: Marek Zidlicky indeed returns, Nate Prosser reassigned
UPDATE: Per league source: No Supplemental Discipline for Bogosian. Player Safety Dept. feels that Bogosian did not run at Bouchard and that Bouchard turned just prior to the hit.
UPDATE WITH BOUCHARD QUOTES:
Morning from Xcel Energy Center, where the Blackhawks skated and the Wild didn't. Remember, early 6:30 p.m. puck drop tonight because the game is on Versus. The game is sold out, but there are single seats and some standing room tickets left.
I will be on Hockey Night in Canada Radio on Sirius at 3:30 p.m. CT and I'll be on NHL Live on NHL Network at 5:35 p.m. CT from the handy arena cam at the X. I'll be the one in the penalty box staring at the bottom of the scoreboard.
Also, I will hosting a live chat on startribune.com at noon CT Thursday.
--Pierre-Marc Bouchard is in the house, rode the bike and skated. I'm no doc, but broken nose is a guarantee, and coach Mike Yeo pretty much confirmed that ("nose is smashed up"). Also has a cut lip. Still, depending on how he feels, he's a game-time decision. Yeo said he wants to make sure Bouchard feels good because of his concussion career.
No word on if Zach Bogosian will face discipline. NHL discipline exec Brendan Shanahan is traveling today, so I hope to hear soon if he's seen the incident. Yeo felt Bogosian's hands were high and needed to be in a lot more control, but "we're not screaming bloody murder" that he needs to be suspended.
