San Francisco-based investment firm Blum Capital Partners reported Friday that it has raised its stake in MoneyGram International Inc. to 21.4 percent from 20.9 percent. Blum Capital now beneficially holds 17.6 million shares of the St. Louis Park-based payment services company, up from the 17.2 million reported on Dec. 8, according to filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Shares of MoneyGram closed on Friday at $1, down 2 cents.
