Big Ten voters pick Gophers anywhere from 5th to 10th

Gophers officially landed at No. 6 in the conference.

The Big Ten men's basketball preseason media poll is made up of 24 contributors, two representing each school who informally vote before every season.

This year, the Gophers received 13 votes for the sixth spot, but also received votes for No. 5 (4), No. 7 (4), No. 8 (1), No. 9 (1) and No. 10 (1). Indiana received 21 top-spot votes, but also got three votes at No. 2. Michigan is the only other school that received first-place votes, with three. Nebraska was nearly the unanimous basement-holder, with 23 votes for No. 12 and one at No. 11. Last year, the Gophers were picked at No. 7. Here's the full poll: 1. Indiana2. Michigan3. Ohio State4.
