Big Ten media day press conferences to be broadcast, streamed by BTN

Now you can participate too! Kind of.

October 31, 2013 at 2:15PM

Today is Big Ten media day. And just because you're not part of the contingency of Knights of the Keyboards, no longer means that you don't get to participate. Kind of.

This year, Big Ten Network and BTN2Go are broadcasting the men's coaches press conferences live, and both the men's and women's coaches press conferences will be streamed live on BTN.com.

The men's pressers will go from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with each coach talking for ten minutes. Gophers coach Richard Pitino is scheduled to take the podium at 8:50.

You can watch here.

The women's pressers will also go from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with the same format. Gophers women's coach Pam Borton is scheduled for 9 a.m.

Transcripts will be available for the public at bigten.org.

But don't let all the power go to your head. Shouting questions at your computer, even with a thin spiral notebook in hand, will not get them answered. That is what the aMAILiaBAG is for.
