Belle Plaine's Ryan Dungey won the title in the 450cc class of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championships on Saturday at Spring Creek MX Park in Millville, Minn. Tyla Rattray took the 250cc crown while Jessica Patterson finished first in WMX. "I love coming back here," Dungey said. "It's my home track. As I went through the second moto, Ryan [Villopoto] opened a gap. I knew it was hot, so I didn't want to push it, but my laps were good. "

Saints are victorious St. Paul Saints starter Alberto Rolon went a career high eight innings and catcher Alex Garabedian set a career high with five RBI in a 7-3 victory over the Sioux City Explorers on Saturday night at Lewis and Clark Park in Sioux City, Iowa. The Saints needed a strong start and they got it from Rolon. He did something no Saints starter had done since June 29 -- not allow a run in the first three innings of the game. Garabedian's three-run homer gave the Saints a 4-0 lead.
