We got a nice e-mail from our former T-Wolves ticket rep -- we didn't renew season tickets this year, but we will certainly be at some games assuming there is a season -- inviting us to a happy hour meet and greet with new coach Rick Adelman tonight from 5:30 to 6:30. Also, per a press release:

New Timberwolves Head Coach Rick Adelman and President of Basketball Operations David Kahn are teaming up to send Lynx fans to the WNBA Finals. With the Lynx's historic season culminating in the franchise's first WNBA Finals appearance, Adelman and Kahn have purchased 2,000 upper-level tickets for Game 1. The first 1,000 seats for the game will be available to fans (limit two per customer), while the remaining 1,000 tickets will be donated to charitable organizations in the Twin Cities.

Call 612.673.8400 if you want those tickets. Freebies to see our best chance at a title-winning team for a while? Hey, why not?
