Back home, Gibson and the Twins look to turn things around

The Twins are coming off of a 1-6 road trip that knocked them out of a wild card spot

The Twins had Monday's off day to undergo therapy after a 1-6 road trip during which they were outscored 60-27. Twins starting pitchers posted a 13.83 ERA during the trip.

Yup, those sure are numbers worth calling a shrink about. They badly need a good homestand against Texas and Cleveland because they will head out to New York, Baltimore and Tampa
Bay after that. Nope, it doesn't get any easier..

Kyle Gibson will look to turn things around as he has sputtered to an 0-3 record and 8.59 ERA since the All-Star break.

After taking two of three from the Giants and sweeping Houston, the Rangers dropped two of three to Seattle over the weekend. The Twins get to see Cole Hamels, the Rangers deadline addition, on Thursday.
